Walker hit a 3-pointer to even things at 10 from a Cambree Mayo assist to jump-start a 14-0 run to spread the margin.

The Bearettes wrapped up the run in the second off a Williams layup and a Walker basket to take an 11-point advantage with just over seven minutes to go before the half. Bradley (21-3, 10-0 District 5 AAA) continued with the see-saw affair until Sloan Carpenter hit a jumper in the paint to take a 28-15 lead. The Lady Cherokees hit a three with 49 seconds left and neither team could get anything else and the Bearettes went into the half up nine.

Bradley opened things back up in the third taking a 15 point lead on a Muhonen layup with 4:30 remaining in the third. McMinn County cut the lead to 10 on a Peyton Oliver 3-pointer but the Bearettes responded with a Walker three from Alexis Barnes with nine seconds to go and to take a 44-31 advantage into the fourth.

The Bearettes continued to stretch the lead in the fourth reaching the apex of their lead on a Carpenter 3-pointer from Kelsey Carman to take a 22-point lead with 2:20 left in the game. Both teams struggled the rest of the way as the only points came on a pair of Whitney Green free-throws with 1:06 remaining and Bradley took the 61-41 victory to claim the regular-season district title.

The win marks the ninth straight regular-season district championship.
