Bradley Handles Ooltewah In 69-22 Victory

OOLTEWAH, Tenn. — The Bradley Central Bearettes dismantled Ooltewah 69-22 on Friday evening from Ooltewah High School.

Anna Walker led all players with 12 points and Cambree Mayo was the only other athlete in double figures with 11 points of her own. Kelsey Carman pulled down a game-high five rebounds while Jamia Williams dished out five assists and Mayo came away with five steals.

The Bearettes had control from the opening possession with a Mayo steal and fastbreak layup just four seconds later to jumpstart a 16-point run to begin the game. Bradley (22-3, 11-0 District 5 AAA) continued to pour it on outscoring the Owls 20-3 in the quarter.

The guests continued their dominance holding Ooltewah to only six points in the second while putting in 21 to take a 41-9 lead heading into the break.

The second half was much the same outscoring the hosts 28-13 en route to the 69-22 victory.

Bradley took advantage of the turnovers outscoring the Owls 28-2 off turnovers while taking care of business on second-chance opportunities with a 16-2 advantage. The Bearettes outscored the hosts 23-5 on fastbreaks and the bench took advantage of playing time with a 31-12 edge in bench scoring.
